Happy Birthday, Annu. đ¤
Out of all the people I could have met,
all the places life could have taken me,
and all the tiny choices that could have changed everythingâĻ
somehow my story still found its way to yours.
I donât know if that was luck, timing, or just one of those quiet little miracles life gives us without ever explaining why.
I only know that Iâm grateful it happened.
Because somewhere along the way, you became more than just someone I happened to meet.
You became someone I started caring about in ways I never really planned for.
Someone whose happiness genuinely matters to me.
Someone whose presence has made certain memories warmer, certain days a little lighter, and somehow, a small corner of my world softer.
And maybe thatâs why I made all of this.
I just wanted to make something beautiful for someone who really matters so much to me.
Sometimes caring about someone really can be that simple.
You meet them.
You collect little memories with them.
You notice the things that make them who they are.
And somewhere between all those ordinary moments, you realize how grateful you are that they became part of your life.
And every once in a while, you just want to remind themâ
you matter.
I know birthdays can sometimes feel a little strange.
Like another year has quietly disappeared before you had the chance to hold onto it.
But I hope that today, instead of thinking only about another year gone, you can look back gently at everything those years left with you.
The mornings that once felt like home.
The people who made the world feel safe.
The laughter you probably donât even remember anymore.
The difficult days you somehow made it through.
The little girl you once were.
The person you slowly became.
None of those years simply vanished.
They became memories.
They became softness.
They became strength.
They became little pieces of you.
And now another year begins.
Another year for new memories to find you.
Another year for places you havenât seen yet, things you havenât laughed about yet, and versions of yourself you havenât even discovered.
And I like thinking about it this way:
this world gets another year of your warmth because youâre in it.
Another year of your laughter.
Another year of the little kindnesses you probably donât even realize you give.
Another year for the people who care about you to make memories with you.
And Iâm grateful I get to be one of the people who knows you.
So take this website for exactly what it is:
a little piece of gratitude,
a lot of care,
a slightly unreasonable amount of effort,
and one very simple thought I wanted you to carry with you today:
Iâm really, really glad I got to know you. đâ¨
So when you look back, I hope you do it with tenderness for every version of yourself that brought you here.
And when you look forward, I hope you remember that there are still so many beautiful things that havenât happened to you yet.
Your story isnât getting smaller, Annu.
Itâs still being written.
Happy Birthday. â¤ī¸
I hope the year ahead is gentle with you, surprises you in good ways, and gives you plenty of reasons to smile at the life still waiting for you. đ¤
